At present, some large-span industrial workshops and large-span public buildings have large amounts of cold air infiltration and large temperature gradients. They have higher requirements for indoor temperature and comfort. Traditional heating methods are difficult to meet these demands. However, the gas radiant heating system has the advantages of high efficiency, fast heat effect, uniform heating, and high comfort level. It can efficiently address the heating needs of large-span spaces. 
 

	During convective heating, the indoor air is heated and a convection of hot and cold air forms. As a result, the indoor air temperature has a large gradient. The temperature at the roof part is high while that near the ground is low. In contrast, in gas radiation heating, radiant heat radiates directly downward and the heat is transported directionally. Therefore, the temperature gradient of the indoor air is smaller and the heat loss in the upper part of the building is also smaller. When the indoor air temperature is the same, radiant heat radiates directly to the heating object. The perceived temperature of radiant heating is 2-3℃ higher than that of convective heating. That is to say, under the condition of ensuring the same perceived temperature of the indoor air, the indoor air temperature of radiant heating is 2-3℃ lower than that of convective heating. Radiant heating consumes less heat and has a smaller temperature difference between indoors and outdoors, so the cold air infiltration is also very small. Therefore, the heat load is lower and it is more energy-efficient.
